Bare Minerals, you win!

For my 24th birthday my wonderous other half gifted me what every woman wants- no, not Zac Efron sandwiched inbetween Bradley Cooper and Leonardo Dicaprio- but a beautiful Bare Minerals make up kit, along with some DECLÉOR hydrating goodness.

I can now admit I over did the make up and I didn’t have a clue what I was doing. Please don’t get me wrong there was no bright orange line across my neck (so weird that people don’t see this happening?), but I did over do with liquid foundation, powder and bronzer.

When I opened such a wonderful present, I was apprehensive about only using powders and eye lighting magic. So walked right up to my mirror and with determination and I walked into it. I shook that off and fixed my nose (some who know me will understand this is an inside embarrassing joke) and started brushing this effortless make up on. I couldn’t believe it, it covered my witch warts and all. I am now completely in love with you Bare Minerals! You have made me fall in love with putting make up on again, I don’t feel scared to walk out with just powders on and no batwings on my eyes. I can tell you, this has never happened. It works perfectly with your skin tone so you don’t have to mess with your face to get the perfect colour.

Along with the beautiful powdered foundation, shimmer, blush & eye lightner the gift pack also came with lip smacking lip gloss and possibly the best mascara I have ever tried. My eyelashes don’t clump and I can see every single lash. FANTASTIC!!!!

Now I mentioned getting Decleor as well but more exciting stuff on that later… NOW GO AND BUY THAT BRILLIANT BARE MINERALS!
