Sainsbury’s- take a bow
Sainsury’s have certainly out done themselves again!
Instead of elbowing my way around a supermarket, I order my food shop once a week from Sainsbury’s online. Not only do I get to park my bottom on the sofa with a cup of tea, I also save A LOT of money per week.
It is almost impossible for people to delivery to where I live-we can’t even get a take away dropped to us, but they have always gone above & beyond when it comes to their delivery process.
I love the range of ingredients they have in stock & even their own ranges are fantastic quality.
One purchase I made this week for a cheeky treat was Sainsbury’s own Whole Crispy Duck. It is HUGE & tastes divine. Instead of running out of pancakes & sauce, we are in abundance of all of it. It’s hard for me to say guys, because I truly love making everything from scratch but I am in so impressed & for an absolute bargain. For the shear amount you get, it is an ideal nibble with friends.
All I had to do was pop it in the oven (fan) at 210 degrees & leave for 50 minutes (plenty of time to consume some grape juice). Chopped some spring onions & cucumber and I was away.
So, well done Sainsbury’s you never cease to impress me
Excuse me while I finish off the rest 😉

Yum yum, I love duck. Best with port and berry sauce you would love it. That’s what we have on Christmas Day instead of Turkey.
Sounds yummy! I have an awesome recipe for a delicious cherry sauce that is perfect with pan seared duck breast. I will need to try the port & berry!
Thanks Emma,
